Minecraft Forge is an API, which get you can modding more in game. Now, there are a lot of mods in Minecraft are supported by Forge and request you install Minecraft Forge first. All you need to do is very simple, that is install this once for all mods request it.
Note: There are some mods are already included Minecraft Forge in it. So you don’t need to install the forge to use those mods. But you still can overwrite it on your old Forge.
How to install Minecraft Forge:
- Lauch Minecraft first.
- Click to the Option menu, which is near the Login menu.
- Now you need to use the link in Option menu to open the .minecraft directory.
- Find the bin folder in directory.
- Now open the minecraft.jar and the Forge version you’ve downloaded before with Winrar or 7-zip.
- Then you use your mouse to drag all contents from Minecraft Forge into minecraft.jar.
- Then you need to delete META-INF file in minecraft.jar.
- Close not only minecraft.jar, but also the Forge.
- Back to the directory.
